FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Police continue to search for someone who they say shot at a repo man early Friday morning in Southeast Fresno.
Officers were called to a house near Fordham and Dayton Avenues in the area of Shields and Fowler Avenues around 4:30 a.m.
The tow truck driver told police he went there to repossess an SUV but the owner followed him in a different car.
He said the driver of the car fired shots at him.
There were bullet holes in the SUV but the tow truck driver was not hit.
Police say the man who fired the shots parked and went into a house and they are now looking for him.
Police say this is just one example of how dangerous it can be to be a repo man.
