Georgia Agent Shot Overnight
A tow truck driver was shot Tuesday morning while taking repossession of a vehicle in DeKalb County, Channel 2 Action News reported.
Another repo worker told the news station they were loading a vehicle onto the tow truck on Rockbridge Road when someone started shooting at them. They hopped back into the truck and drove to a nearby Shell gas station at the corner of Rockbridge and Rowland roads, where he discovered the driver was hit in the back of the neck. The driver’s injuries are not life-threatening, DeKalb police told Channel 2.
At some point, the alleged gunman shot himself in the foot, according to authorities. Police said the repossessed vehicle was his. It is not clear if the man is in custody.
