MI. Man Points Gun, Tries To Drive Off Lift
HURON COUNTY, Mich. –A 37-year-old Owendale man has been jailed on multiple charges after firing a 9mm pistol and then pointing it at a Saginaw-area vehicle repossession driver.
The incident took place around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on Sebewaing Road in Huron County’s Grant Township.
Deputies responded to the scene after learning the driver had been threatened with a gun when the man became disgruntled after learning his truck was being repossessed.
Deputies report that the man attempted to leave with his young child while the pickup was hooked to the tow truck, which wasn’t successful.
The man was then taken into police custody without incident and faces charges such as felonious assault, reckless weapon discharge and child endangerment.
His bond was set at $10,000 and is still currently being held in the Huron County Jail.
