BRYAN, TX – A repossessed vehicle resulted in Bryan police making two arrests. BPD responded to the car lot following an anonymous report of methamphetamine being inside the vehicle. According to the arrest report, the driver confessed that meth found in a gum wrapper belonged to her. That led to the arrest of 26 year old Ashley Carter of Bryan, who five years ago was one of four people who pleaded guilty to federal charges of stealing mail. Carter was one of two passengers in a car who took her to the car lot to get her things out of the repossessed vehicle. The other passenger, 28 year old Devin Coleman of Bryan, was arrested on six warrants where he owes more than $3,300 dollars in fines for four traffic offenses and two misdemeanor cases.
