Ugh. Repo Man The Game
Polish studio Baldur Games is working on Repo Man, a PC game that has you controlling a debt collector as he takes things away from people. The studio has released new photos and a trailer for the first-person debt collecting simulator.
Repo Man is a single player game where you are the debt collector, and it will give you moral and ethical choices. There will be all types of orders as you progress in your career. The main goal is to try and seize valuable objects from the debtors, and you will need to be good at finding these valuable items. Stealth is important as you will need to take things without the debtor knowing. If you are caught, you may have to engage in hand-to-hand combat. Players will have access to a city with very diverse districts, and some examples are rich districts with numerous villas and industrial buildings.
“This production will allow us to know better the world of a debt collector, i.e. an industry veiled in certain intrigue and sometimes also with a bad name. What is important, Repo Man presents a serious approach to the subject. There are lots of moral and ethical decisions to be made and some situations may be really difficult for players” says the CEO of Ultimate Games S.A., Mateusz Zawadzki.
Baldur Games has previously worked on Grave Keeper, a hack-and-slash-type game. Publishing the game will be Ultimate Games S.A.
Repo Man will be available for the PC on Steam in the fourth quarter of 2020. It also has plans for release on consoles.
