SOUTH MILWAUKEE – A 66-year-old Oconomowoc woman gets into her car and starts driving away June 29.
What’s so strange? Her hood was up as she drove off and she was trying to take her car back following a repossession.
The woman’s vehicle was towed to Haulaholic, 1210 Missouri Ave., South Milwaukee, following a repo order. It was later determined the repo order should not have gone out, according to a police report.
The woman was upset her vehicle was taken and her property and plates were removed.
The 66-year-old attempted to drive off with the hood up but was stopped at the gate. According to the report, the woman was upset and argumentative and didn’t comprehend doing anything wrong. She was not arrested, however, based on the request of the repo driver.
The woman said her car was damaged when it was taken and 40 of her hydrocodone pills were missing, according to the report. The repo driver denied taking the pills.
