Cell Phone Saves Houston Camera Operator

Just before 2:00 a.m. this morning, a camera car operator for Asset Resolutions was scanning a neighborhood in Southeast Houston when shots rang out and the operator realized he had been shot. He sped away from the scene and hollered at his dispatcher that he had been shot. When he got stopped away from the scene, he realized that his cell phone had taken the brunt of the impact. Otherwise unhurt, this operator truly has won a lottery bigger than the Mega Millions. This is the third incident involving a firearm for Asset Resolutions in the last two weeks.

Police are still investigating and as for the operator, he wanted to go back out and finish scanning for the night.
