Texas is experiencing a large growth of new Repossession Companies. Texas Accredited Repossession Professionals are here to help you in any way we can.
To conduct business in Texas, you must have a TDLR. You can apply or renew your business TDLR, add and remove vehicles from your CAB Card, and apply for agent TDLR licenses at https://www.tdlr.texas.gov/services.htm
You also must have a Sales Tax and Use Permit. You can apply for your certificate at
https://comptroller.texas.gov/taxes/sales/. You should have a sales tax permit for each of your locations, even if you are only filing each month from your corporate headquarters.
You must also have a Franchise Tax Account. You can learn more about this at https://comptroller.texas.gov/taxes/franchise/
