Detroit Woman Who Shot At Agent, Shot By Police, Pleads Guilty
DETROIT – A woman shot by Detroit police after allegedly shooting at a man repossessing her car has pleaded guilty.

Police said Shaquanda Danielle Tankersley fired a handgun multiple times at a tow truck driver after he repossessed a car from her Detroit home on June 12. Officers who were on patrol in the area reportedly saw Tankersley shoot at the tow truck driver and returned fire.
Tankersley was taken to a hospital, where she was treated and released before being charged with attempted murder.
On Friday, Sept. 12, Tankersley pleaded guilty to felonious assault. Her assault with intent to murder and felony firearm charges were dismissed.
