Repossession Agents Shoots RO W/Knife
DETROIT — A repossession attempt Tuesday morning on Detroit’s west side ended with a man being shot, according to Fox 2 Detroit.
Police say a repo man was attempting to repossess a car in the 19900 block of Stahalin, near Pembroke and Southfield when the car owner approached him. The repo man told police the car owner had a knife and at that point the repo man pulled his gun and shot the car owner.
The name of the shooter and the man who was shot have not been released, however the shooting victim is a man in his 50s. Police say the repo man stayed on the scene and is cooperating with police. He holds a concealed pistol license as well.
