AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

Ovidiu G. Astalis, 35, of the 8100 block of W Courte Drive, Niles, is accused of aggravated assault, disorderly conduct (two counts), and was arrested at 5:10 p.m. Oct. 5 at Steve Foley Cadillac, 100 block of Skokie Boulevard. According to the complainant, Astalis was upset because his vehicle had been repossessed and implied that he had a gun. He had threatened to use the gun at the dealership. Officers made contact with Astalis and recovered a handgun. He posted $1,500 bond, and was assigned a court date of Nov. 13 in Skokie.
