Arrest After Michigan Repo Shooting
ISABELLA COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) — A 29-year-old Union Township man was arrested after Isabella County deputies said he fired at a tow truck driver who was repossessing a car from the suspect’s home on South Lincoln Road.
That man is charged with attempted murder and assault with a dangerous weapon.
The detective, along with another deputy, quickly located and detained the suspect.
Evidence collected from the scene included a firearm and expended cartridges.
A witness who was driving by provided a statement confirming they saw the suspect firing at the tow truck and its driver.
No one was injured during the incident. The suspect was transported to the hospital for a medical evaluation after “he intentionally struck his head on the plastic divider in the patrol unit.”
