Ohio Man Gets Prison For Repo Assault With A Bat

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Warren man was sentenced to prison Wednesday after investigators said he assaulted a man who was attempting to repossess his vehicle.

Hasonn Miller, 52, was given a 28-month consecutive prison sentence after being convicted of aggravated assault and vandalism felonies.

According to the Trumbull County Prosecutor’s Office, the judge said the consecutive sentences were warranted because of the seriousness of the offenses and because Miller had served two previous prison sentences for violent offenses.

Miller was charged following an August 2025 incident, when an agent for a loan company was repossessing Miller’s vehicle when he took a baseball bat and struck the windshield of the vehicle. The flying glass struck the repo agent, causing minor injuries, prosecutors stated.
