Texas Woman Asks 911 If She Can Shoot Repossessor
A woman asked police if she could shoot someone who was trying to repossess her car.
According to Wichita Falls Police:
Officers were sent to an address on Gossett Street Thursday morning to check on a disturbance. The caller told dispatchers an unmarked tow truck was at her house trying to take her Camaro.
WFPD spokesman Sgt. Charlie Eipper said the call-taker could hear a disturbance in the background.
The caller asked the dispatcher if she could shoot the repo person. Meanwhile. on the other line, the tow truck driver called police to report they were being threatened with a gun and said the woman also sicked her dogs on them and that they were being chased.
Eipper said two people were barred from the address and the Camaro was left at the scene pending ongoing legal litigation.
A WFPD crimes against property investigator has been assigned to the case.
