PK Willis Sells $27.5M House To Andretti

Retired race car driver Michael Andretti just dropped $27.4 million on a massive waterfront compound in Fort Lauderdale, one of the city’s biggest sales in the past year.

The seller? None other than Patrick K. Willis — yes, the “repo king” himself — who runs American Recovery Services out of El Dorado Hills, California. If you’ve been in this line of work for more than five minutes, you’ve probably heard of ARS. They’re one of the biggest auto repossession forwarding outfits in the country.

Willis sold the 17,812-square-foot, 9-bedroom, 15-bath monster at 2900 NE 37th Street for 30% under its $39 million asking price. Don’t feel bad for him though — he bought it in 2021 for $12.5 million. That’s doubling your money in just a few years, which is the kind of return most repo agents only dream about when chasing skips at 3 a.m.

The place sits on 1.1 acres with 665 feet of water frontage, built in 2005, and has all the toys: resort-style pool, wellness wing with gym and spa, a seven-car garage, staff quarters, and even three-phase mega-yacht power — basically a private marina.

Karson Dietrich with Premier Estate Properties had the listing, and R.J. Spadaro from Realty 100 Associates represented the seller.

Andretti, son of racing legend Mario Andretti, walked away from driving in the early 2000s after 42 wins, now runs Andretti Autosport, and still has the family name tearing up IndyCar through his son, Marco.
