San Antonio PD Issue Warrant & Request Dealer Assistance

I wanted to make you aware of the following individual who is applying for vehicle loans with fictitious social security numbers in an attempt to get funded to purchase vehicles.  He then goes into a dealership and purchases the vehicle once he is approved for a loan.  Once he has the vehicle he immediately resells the vehicle and promises to give the buyer a title.  He favors high end vehicles like sports cars and large trucks.  Often time the lender does not realize the information on the loan application is fictitious  until after my suspect has driven away with the vehicle.  One of his tactics is to pressure the dealership to let him drive away in the vehicle the same day and tells them he has to be in and out in 30 minutes.  He is targeting dealerships in San Antonio and south Texas, I have also found he has purchased vehicles from out of state.

He will present all documentation needed such as drivers license, social security cards, pay stubs, and letters showing he has “paid off” vehicles he has recently purchased.  All items he presents are forged documents, except for his driver’s license.

Please disseminate this information to your members.  He is currently wanted in San Antonio for the offense of Forgery and False Statement to obtain Property or Credit.  There are active FELONY warrants for his arrest and police should be called if he walks into any dealership.  The following is my suspects information and I have included a picture of the suspect.

TEXAS DL:  19221065

He also goes by the name JOHNIFER JAMES LODGE same date of birth and driver’s license number.  He recently had his name legally changed to LOPEZ, so that is what will appear on his drivers license.
