Repo Shooter Fails To Appear-Gets Arrested Again

A northeast Missouri man facing multiple previous charges has been taken into custody.

On Wednesday afternoon, Jesse S. Knowles, 47, of Unionville, was arrested by Missouri state troopers.

An arrest warrant had been issued for him for failure to appear in court.

Knowles is facing felony charges of first-degree harassment and first-degree stalking dating back to 2020.

He also has numerous misdemeanor charges of violating an order of protection.

In September, Knowles was involved in a shooting incident in Green City, Mo., when his truck was repossessed.

Knowles reportedly approached the tow truck driver, Brian Jarman, 54, of Unionville, and a verbal confrontation took place.

Sullivan County Sheriff Roger Smiley told KTVO at the time that Jarman ended up firing one shot from a handgun into the tire of the side-by-side Knowles was driving.

Jarman was charged in the incident and is scheduled to be in court next week.

Knowles is currently being held without bond in the Putnam County jail.

He is scheduled for a bond hearing Monday afternoon.
