Many a times, we have found ourselves in a Financial spot where we need to make a living but don’t have to finances. At this point most of us go to different financial institutions to get financial aid in form of loans. But what happens if you are unable to repay it?
In Uasin Gishu County [Kenya], a young man did exactly the same to try and make a living. He approached watu creditors, which is a financing institution in Eldoret and acquired a motorcycle on credit. However as per the terms and conditions, he was to be repaying the bike’s loan on a weekly basis untill the entire loan is faced off.
But in the course of time, this young man was unable to pay the loan as earlier ugreed with Watu Creditors. And all was left was his motorcycle to he repossessed.
However, after he realised that they were to reposses the motorcycle, he dug a five feet pit in his shamba and buried the bike. He then reported to the police that his motorcycle was missing and that it had been stolen.
But unfortunately, the motorcycle had a live tracking device which the lenders used and lead them to his shamba where he had buried it.
The young man was then arraigned to the police and is about to face charges. The bike was recovered and will be used as evidence.
