Agent Shot Twice In South Carolina
BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) – The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting of a tow truck driver who was wounded as he attempted to drive off during a repossession attempt.
Deputies responded shortly before midnight to the Spinx gas station at College Park Drive and Highway 78 where the victim went after the shooting, Cpl. Carli Carr said.
The victim told investigators he went to an address on Curly Lane to repossess a car, hooked the vehicle up and was about to drive away when someone came out of a home and opened fire.
Carr said the driver was hit twice in the arm and EMS took him to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives are investigating the case but no arrests have been made as of Tuesday afternoon, she said.
