Buzz Blotter – Ohio RO Pulls Gun. Agent Gets Arrested

MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio

Police went to Days Inn at 12:37 a.m. Oct. 23 for a disturbance. The caller told the officer that he was at the hotel to repossess a car in the parking lot. While trying to hook the car to the tow truck, however, the repo man said the car’s owner approached him holding a firearm and told him to “back up.” The man then got into his car and drove away.

The repo man told the officer that he did not feel threatened by the car’s owner or his actions and did not want to pursue charges. Meanwhile, the officer checked out the repo man’s background and learned that he had a warrant with Brooklyn Heights police. He was arrested.
