Illinois Repossessor Killed During Redemption

It is with a heavy sadness that Repo Buzz has to report that during a repossession redemption at Greg’s Towing & Recovery in Mt Zion, Illinois, tragedy struck as one person lost their life. Macon County Sheriff Jim Root stated that deputies were summoned to the scene following reports of a gunshot victim.

Upon arrival, they encountered the suspect and two gunshot victims. Regrettably, it has been confirmed that the individual who lost their life was Gregory Hostetler. One victim received urgent medical attention at a nearby hospital, while the other succumbed to their injuries on-site.

The suspect, also injured, was promptly transported to a medical facility. Consequently, a segment of Route 121 in Hervey City was closed as part of the ongoing investigation. Stay updated for further developments on this distressing incident.
