Texas RO Arrested For Pulling Firearm On Agent
An adult male suspect is in custody after allegedly pulling a firearm on a repossession driver who showed up to take away his Jeep on the 23800 block of Beaverwood Drive in Spring, Texas. Constable deputies investigated the confrontation as an aggravated assault and located the suspect at the residence before taking him into custody.
According to Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4, deputies responded to the scene after the repossession driver arrived to repossess a Jeep and was allegedly threatened with a gun by the man tied to the vehicle. The constable’s office described the man as an adult male suspect who was located at the Beaverwood Drive address and is now in custody following the investigation.
Under Texas Penal Code § 22.02, brandishing or displaying a firearm during a confrontation elevates the offense to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony punishable by two to 20 years in state prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
