When it comes to vehicle repossessions, it’s not uncommon for agents and lot managers to come across a wide range of messes—fast food wrappers, spilled drinks, maybe the occasional forgotten gym bag. But what one auto detailer recently encountered takes “dirty” to a whole new level.
In a now-viral video, a professional detailer documents the restoration of a Ram 1500 that was repossessed in what can only be described as shocking condition. The vehicle, a repo truck, appears to have either been neglected for years—or deliberately vandalized before repossession.
From caked-on grime to trash-filled compartments, every square inch of the truck seemed to challenge the very limits of auto detailing. But it wasn’t just the visual filth that was overwhelming. According to the detailer, the smell was “absolutely horrendous”—something that words, and even video, could barely convey.
