Neb. RO Pulls Gun On Agent

LINCOLN, Neb. – Police report that on Saturday, a man was taken into custody for allegedly threatening a tow truck operator in the northwest area of Lincoln.

At approximately 3 p.m., Demond Flowers, aged 49, confronted a tow truck operator attempting to repossess his vehicle near the intersection of Northwest Sixth and Sally streets.

According to law enforcement officials, Flowers brandished a firearm at the tow truck operator. Subsequently, the operator vacated the scene and contacted emergency services.

Authorities apprehended Flowers at his residence, where he was charged with suspected acts of making terroristic threats and employing a firearm to commit a felony.

Additionally, police disclosed the recovery of a 9 mm handgun in the incident.
